Got an invite code?

  • Enter it when you create your account. It goes in the Invite code (optional) box on the welcome screen, under your handle. You can also leave it empty.
  • A friend's invite counts if you use the newest version and open RipNova from their invite link.
  • Invites are only for sharing: nobody gets credits or anything else for them.
  • Install RipNova only from velavia.io.

Install it in a minute

RipNova for Android is a direct download. It isn't on Google Play yet, so Android asks you once to allow the install.

  1. Download. Tap Download for Android above and save RipNova-0.1.0.apk.
  2. Open the file from the download notification or your browser's downloads.
  3. Allow installs from this source. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
  4. Install, then open. Tap Install, then Open. If Google Play Protect warns that it doesn't recognize the app, that's because RipNova isn't on Google Play yet: only go ahead with a file you downloaded from velavia.io.
  5. Create your account. Enter a display name and a handle, confirm you're 18 or older and tap Create account. A friend's invite counts if you use the newest version and open RipNova from their invite link.

iPhone

iPhone isn't available yet. RipNova is Android only for now, and an iPhone app is planned.

Good to know

  • Play credits, not money. Play credits are free. They have no cash value and can't be withdrawn or sent to anyone. Play-credit pulls never ship.
  • Nova Credits cost money. Nova Credits (100 = $1) are optional and sold in the app's Shop (card, PayPal or Venmo), and their pulls can ship to you for a fee. To buy, sign in with email or Google and confirm your phone number.
  • 18+. You must be 18 or older to use RipNova.
  • Sign in to keep your account. Sign in with email or Google in Account › Settings so you can get back in on a new phone. Without sign-in, your account is a key saved on your phone: uninstalling the app or clearing its data loses it.
  • Updating. Download the new file from this page and install it over the app you have. Don't uninstall first.
  • Afterwards you can turn the install permission for your browser off again in your phone's settings.
